Welcome to Term 4 everyone!
IMAX and Lygon St Excursion
This week on Tuesday and Wednesday, the grade 5 & 6 students headed into the city for a 2 part excursion.
Part 1 of the Excursion was down Lygon St, where the students put their knowledge of the Italian Language to the test. Students were immersed in Italian culture as they walked along Lygon St, checking out all the cafes, restaurants and shops that very much reflect Italy today.
I would have to day that for many of us on the day the highlight was ordering our very own gelati using our knowledge of the Italian language. The staff at the gelati shop were extremely impressed with the students language skills! So well done everyone!
Part 2 of the excursion was the the IMAX cinema, where we watch the move ‘The Human Body’. It really showed us an up close and personal look at all of the body systems. ‘Im sure there were quite a few queasy stomachs at some points!
All students took part in the excursion with great enthusiasm and respect on the day, so well done to all! Check out the Animoto clip above for some great pics from the day

Hello
Latly we have been going to the beach everyday and this can result in one of two ways. 1. Everyone wakes up at the perfect time we all go down to the beach and everyone has a great time:D
(most of the time it has been #1 but this morning we sadly had #2 yesterday —Tuesday— but we are all good now.)
2. We all wake up at separate times and go in two groups and forget to put sun screen and we all come back extremely sun burnt.
We are having 2- minute noodles for dinner, from Alex

Hello Alex,
We are all glad that you are having such a great time in Qld. We hope that your sunburn wasn’t too severe and that your skin isn’t blistered!
Did the 2 minute noodles taste nice? We are still waiting to hear if you went on the giant drop…remember…if you didn’t, there is extra homework coming your way! How has the weather been? And finally, have you been on a jetski?
Look forward to hearing back from you soon!
